Backend Engineer

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional programming experience, including expertise in Node.js and other technologies such as Java, Ruby on Rails, and Python.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent work experience).
• Professional experience in software design, implementation, and building dynamic web applications and APIs.

• Capability to work independently, resolve ambiguity, and make informed decisions.
• Willingness to learn, open-mindedness, and consideration of different ideas and opinions.

• Familiarity with architecture, design patterns, system reliability, and scaling.
• Solid data-oriented skills, including knowledge of Core Data and data structures.
• Previous experience using AWS technologies at scale in a production environment.
