Senior Python Developer

Prominent asset management company is undergoing a comprehensive revamp of its technological framework, aiming to synchronize it with its expanding business needs and anticipated future demands for scalability and dependability. At the core of our operations lies data, which drives our business, and we intend to revamp every facet of the data lifecycle, including collection, enhancement, transformation, computation, dissemination, and storage.

Team

We are actively seeking passionate Python developers to join our team in constructing a highly efficient, scalable, business-oriented data and workflow delivery platform.

Technology stack

• Python: FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy
• DB: RDB (MySQL/PostgreSQL), MongoDB
• Broker: RabbitMQ
• Cloud: Azure
• Logging: ELK, Sentry

Requirements

• 8+ years of development experience
• 5+ years of development experience using Python
• 5+years of experience with SQL / NoSQL
• Expertise in data-centric applications for the web
• Expertise in building distributed, containerized, cloud-agnostic applications
• Thorough understanding of Python data structures and their performance implications
• Write clean, readable code with documentation
• Ability to work independently in small teams of 2-3 developers
• A desire to take ownership of deliverable and run with it
• Focused on testing and ensuring the code delivered is tested thoroughly
• Experience in Pyspark/Kubernetes, redis (caching frameworks), flask/fast API
• Additional requirements for the second resource
• Expertise in evaluating open-source Python libraries for the team.
• Expertise in designing message-oriented components
• Experience in building solutions to deliver business workflows and rule

Nice to have

• Independent developer who can work with changing requirements and fast fast-paced environment
• Experience in finance, and interest in learning the mechanics of financial products
• Experience in Azure
