E-commerce Solutions Architect

Project Overview

Our company is a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with exciting changes on the horizon under a new highly skilled professional. We are seeking a highly-skilled Solutions Architect with E-commerce experience to join our team. As a Solution Architect of Digital Commerce capability, you will closely work with Sales and Delivery Teams and contribute into building strong relationships with technology partners. You will enhance your experience by working on different phases of projects – from ideation to migration and going live; working with modern technologies; large-scale programs, which will help you unlock and improve your leadership potential.

Technology Stack

• CommerceTools, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, BigCommerce, Shopify, OroCommerce, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise on eCommerce application architecture, integration development initiatives, analyzing business requirements, and crafting appropriate, cost-effective, and logical solutions
• Analyze and design B2B and B2C eCommerce platforms
• Participate in the implementation of the solution’s from ideation to completion
• Monitor performance and advise any necessary infrastructure changes
• Prepare the standards and guidelines for technical designing based on various business goals and specific inputs from the clients
• Recommend necessary changes in the existing Digital commerce capability according to actual technology and market trends
• Coordinate with the web developers, e-commerce marketing team, and e-commerce analysts for the effective completion and working of the e-commerce application
• Elicit business needs and requirements, determine the architecture, scope, team composition, and timelines for the project
• Mentor more junior engineers and promote Digital Commerce capability in the technical community
• Help with architecture review and troubleshooting processes in complicated cases

Requirements

• Solid experience as a Solutions Architect in commercial projects
• Certified specialist in modern E-commerce platforms
• Experience related to IT Management or other information technology solutions architecture role
• Expert knowledge about various web technologies
• Experience with high-level estimation and/or quote preparation
• Experience with CommerceTools, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, BigCommerce, Shopify, OroCommerce
• Expertise in developing accurate technical recommendations, alternatives, and improvements
• Cloud experience
• Good understanding of modern e-Commerce architecture principles and best practices (i.e. MACH)
• Good spoken and written English

• Experience working within the E-commerce industry
• Experience working with Order Management Systems
• Experience of Globalization of Stores (different languages, pages, products)
• Strong visualization skills
• Cloud certifications are welcome
